What You Will Be Doing

Collaborate with technical artists, animators, and gameplay engineers to innovate animation pipelines and technology for our high-end game
Assist in designing animation technology alongside the animation team
Create and integrate animation tools and components in UE5
Ensure smooth performance for an immersive player experience
Contribute to refining our development pipeline and architecture, advocating for optimal animation workflows
Engage in code reviews, uphold coding standards, and exchange expertise to foster a culture of excellence
Identify and address bugs and performance concerns, prioritizing quality and player enjoyment

At least 5 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on animation engineering in the gaming industry
Proficiency in C++ and extensive experience with Unreal Engine 5
In-depth understanding of animation principles
Experience with animation systems such as state machines and graphs
Familiarity with physics-based animation techniques and simulations
Experience with Perforce for version control and a thorough understanding of its workflow in a team environment
Knowledgeable in performance optimization for games, with awareness of technical limitations and strategies to overcome them
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting
Prior involvement in successful AAA PC or console game teams
