What You Will Be Doing
- Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Design and architect end-to-end solutions using Ruby and related technologies, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to define project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Drive the development and implementation of best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies to ensure high-quality code and efficient development processes.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party libraries, frameworks, and tools as needed to enhance development efficiency and application functionality.
- Perform code reviews to maintain code quality, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in the Ruby ecosystem, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with the team to implement effective solutions.
- Contribute hands-on coding and development as needed, leading by example in demonstrating best practices and coding excellence.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (X+ years) in software development with a strong focus on Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Previous experience in a technical leadership role, leading and mentoring teams of developers.
- Solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
- Experience with database design and optimization in the context of Ruby applications.
- Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and drive effective solutions.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate technical concepts and collaborate across teams.
- Dedication to staying current with industry trends and continuous learning.

- Competitive Salary : $200,000 – $225,000 per Year
