What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve revenue growth and boost profitability.
  • Oversee sales and marketing teams to create and run effective sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to diversify revenue streams and strengthen market position.
  • Collaborate with the Research team to develop detailed business plans for commercial opportunities, including expansion and business development.
  • Understand existing customer requirements to ensure their needs are met in coordination with other teams.
  • Acquire new customers and manage relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Track the performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare management reports.
  • Assist in setting financial targets and monitoring progress.

 

What You Will Need

  • BSc/BA in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a commercial director or in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales and/or marketing and managing key client relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of market research methods and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
  • Commercial acumen combined with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards common goals.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for building robust relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker, adept at analyzing market trends and data to formulate effective commercial strategies.
  • Financial proficiency, with experience managing budgets and financial performance metrics.
  • Strong negotiation skills for developing and managing commercial agreements with customers and vendors.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing business priorities.
