What You Will Be Doing
- Drive the strategy for network and production systems operations in alignment with business goals, emphasizing computer vision hardware performance in dynamic environments.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of network, systems, and automation engineers, promoting growth in hands-on AI and robotics operations.
- Analyze and enhance the performance, stability, and efficiency of globally distributed, field-deployed systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining scalable monitoring and alerting systems tailored for edge AI and robotics platforms.
- Establish robust incident response processes to ensure swift issue resolution across infrastructure.
- Deploy and oversee tools for monitoring, managing, and maintaining hardware in diverse physical environments (e.g., warehouses, industrial facilities, parking structures).
- Partner with cross-functional teams to scale infrastructure in line with expanding hardware deployments.
- Oversee operational budgets, optimizing investments in tools, equipment, and emerging technologies.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate SLAs, and track performance—particularly for vision hardware, edge computing, and connectivity providers.
- Continuously seek and implement improvements to boost system uptime, reliability, and efficiency.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for deployments, site activations, and client engagements.

What You Will Need
- Over a decade of experience in network and production systems operations, including 5+ years in technical leadership.
- Deep knowledge of deploying and managing real-world robotics or computer vision systems, with expertise in Linux, networking protocols, and edge computing.
- Track record of supporting large-scale, distributed hardware deployments in the field.
- Skilled in leading high-impact technical teams in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
- Strong project management and prioritization abilities across infrastructure rollout, field ops, and support functions.
- Effective communicator, adept at translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and external partners.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are a strong asset.
- Background in high-growth, innovation-driven environments.
