What You Will Be Doing

  • Drive the strategy for network and production systems operations in alignment with business goals, emphasizing computer vision hardware performance in dynamic environments.
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of network, systems, and automation engineers, promoting growth in hands-on AI and robotics operations.
  • Analyze and enhance the performance, stability, and efficiency of globally distributed, field-deployed systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining scalable monitoring and alerting systems tailored for edge AI and robotics platforms.
  • Establish robust incident response processes to ensure swift issue resolution across infrastructure.
  • Deploy and oversee tools for monitoring, managing, and maintaining hardware in diverse physical environments (e.g., warehouses, industrial facilities, parking structures).
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to scale infrastructure in line with expanding hardware deployments.
  • Oversee operational budgets, optimizing investments in tools, equipment, and emerging technologies.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate SLAs, and track performance—particularly for vision hardware, edge computing, and connectivity providers.
  • Continuously seek and implement improvements to boost system uptime, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for deployments, site activations, and client engagements.

What You Will Need

  • Over a decade of experience in network and production systems operations, including 5+ years in technical leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of deploying and managing real-world robotics or computer vision systems, with expertise in Linux, networking protocols, and edge computing.
  • Track record of supporting large-scale, distributed hardware deployments in the field.
  • Skilled in leading high-impact technical teams in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
  • Strong project management and prioritization abilities across infrastructure rollout, field ops, and support functions.
  • Effective communicator, adept at translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and external partners.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are a strong asset.
  • Background in high-growth, innovation-driven environments.
