What You Will Be Doing
- Architect, build, and sustain scalable, secure REST APIs and WebSocket services with Nest.js, FastAPI, Flask, and similar frameworks.
- Facilitate real-time data exchange and communication between backend systems and clients.
- Enhance API efficiency while enforcing security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and microservice integrations.
- Incorporate third-party APIs and services to ensure seamless interoperability across platforms.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to align backend development with business objectives.
- Maintain backend services with a focus on high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
- Produce clean, well-structured, and thoroughly documented code with unit and integration tests.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, continuously optimizing performance and stability.
What You Will Need
- Strong experience with Nest.js, FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks for building REST APIs and WebSocket services.
- Knowledge of real-time communication protocols and event-driven architectures.
- Expertise in optimizing API performance and implementing security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and microservice integration.
- Experience in integrating and managing third-party APIs and services to ensure seamless interoperability.
- Ability to work effectively with product managers, designers, and engineers to align backend solutions with business needs.
- Understanding of high availability, fault tolerance, and scalable backend service design.
- Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code with comprehensive documentation, unit tests, and integration tests.
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving production issues while continuously optimizing system performance and stability.
