What You Will Be Doing

Provide technical expertise and leadership in analyzing, designing, planning, and implementing IBM Cloud solutions based on reference architectures and industry best practices
Collaborate with the GHS Cloud Sales team to gather customer requirements and develop comprehensive IBM Cloud architectures, including detailed solution designs, specifications, diagrams, and presentation materials
Create cost-effective designs for compute, storage, networking, security, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery to meet client needs
Define and support the implementation of monitoring and management systems to optimize availability, performance, and costs
Lead the deployment of IBM Cloud solutions using modern tools like Terraform, Ansible, and scripting
Facilitate managed services through automation and integration for configuration management, monitoring, and incident response
Leverage native cloud services to achieve availability and resiliency goals
Develop internal pricing models and guide virtual instance selection
Plan and architect migrations from on-premises to public cloud environments

What You Will Need

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related discipline
IBM Cloud Professional Architect and Advanced Architect certifications
Over 10 years of IT experience, including 4+ years in Data Center or Cloud deployments
Proven track record in executing Cloud migrations and expertise in planning and implementing IBM platforms
