Lead Machine Learning/AI Engineer (on-site) Santa Ana CA
Our client is a leader in security services space with an international presence and multi-billion dollar revenue. They are building out a new team for a green field project whose software will impact 250k+ lives yearly.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide leadership and mentorship to your engineering team
- Carry out code review and pair programming
- Ensure the future integration of AI projects and initiatives
- Develop upon data science prototypes
- Select appropriate annotated datasets for Supervised Learning methods
- Use effective text representations to transform natural language into useful features
- Find and implement the right algorithms and tools for AI/ML tasks
- Train the developed model and run evaluation experiments
- Perform statistical analysis of results and refine models
What You Will Need
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields
- 3+ years of Senior Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence Engineering or 1+ years of Leadership experience in the same field
- Proven experience deploying NLP/NLU and/or computer vision solutions into production
- Proven experience with data science and building machine learning models with changing datasets
- Hands-on experience in chatbots, conversational AI and frameworks
- Robust experience with text representation, named entity extraction techniques, and sentiment analysis
- Experience with Image Processing techniques
- Ability to effectively design AI solutions and software architecture
- Deep understanding of machine learning techniques (such as regression, classification and clustering algorithms)
- Strong knowledge of Python, Java or R
- Proven experience with MLOps framework and tooling
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries
