Rust Engineer – 4104

What You Will Be Doing

• Collaborating closely with both operations and development engineers to comprehend areas in our codebase that require enhancement
• Attending design meetings with other engineers
• Planning, creating, and implementing multiple crucial upgrades for the Hosted Service platform
• Evaluating needs for previously defined projects, generating innovative solutions for new problems, and converting them into feature blueprints
• Writing reusable, verifiable, and streamlined code in Rust
• Performing both unit and integration tests, and supporting the creation of automation tooling for recurrent duties

What You Will Need

• Demonstrable expertise and mastery of Rust; supplementary experience with Assemblyscript/Typescript
• Experience with open-source software development
• Strong experience with software design patterns, and the ability to build reusable and modular components 
• A certain level of understanding or familiarity with blockchain or distributed technology
• Experience with Ops, infrastructure, and Postgres databases
