What You Will Be Doing

Develop architecture design models/frameworks that facilitate the chosen framework and will be utilized by the development crews
Assess current designs and pinpoint/execute enhancements to existing systems
Collaborate with product crews in the evaluation of new features/products and offer guidance on the implications/workload/feasibility of them
Work together with development/test/integration/support crews in the improvement/implementation/deployment of the chosen framework
Take part in comprehensive design and code reviews to ensure consistency with the chosen framework and suggested design patterns
Evaluate upcoming technologies, keep updated with industry-leading procedures, and add them into the system framework as necessary
Construct prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and demonstrations to assess new frameworks/technologies for the systems
Supply technical leadership to junior software engineers in the areas of software design and execution

Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or other related engineering degree, or equivalent experience
10+ years of programming in two of the following: C, C++, JavaScript, Python
3+ year’s architecture experience in complex embedded systems
Extensive knowledge of diverse architectural models including advantages/disadvantages of each and when to employ them
Proficient in the creation/development of intricate Linux systems, with a broad range of experience in various technologies relating to topics such as: networking protocols, security protocols, distributed systems, high availability strategies, audio/video distribution, e-commerce, big data, and analytics
Excellent comprehension of Object-Oriented Programming notions, design patterns, and abstraction techniques
Experience in developing/designing software for complex embedded systems from requisites to production/deployment
Proficient in documenting architectures and accustomed to related diagramming models (such as C4 model, UML, sequence diagrams, …) including when and why each is used
Experience working with the Agile development process
Experience with AWS Cloud
