What You Will Be Doing
- Collect, define, and interpret requirements from our business stakeholders.
- Design software solutions using suitable technologies and documentation to align with stakeholder needs.
- Develop high-quality, well-tested code with comprehensive test coverage.
- Reflect CIRM’s mission through words and actions that show dedication to advancing treatments for patients.
- Work collaboratively with team members to improve efficiency, boost productivity, and build skills.
- Support team decisions and contribute to achieving shared goals.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Director of IT.
What You Will Need
- B.S. in Computer Science, completed a coding bootcamp, or finished a technical apprenticeship program.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails in a full-stack development role.
- Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with either TypeScript or ReScript, along with frameworks like React.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL, Redis, Webpacker, Bootstrap, jQuery, and Git.
- Adheres to software engineering best practices, including clean code, unit testing, peer reviews, and thorough documentation.
