What You Will Be Doing
- Conceive, fabricate, deploy, and refine SLAM algorithms for computer vision and robotics applications
- Cooperate with interdisciplinary teams to embed SLAM technology into our products
- Utilize cameras, IMUs, GPS, and various sensors to produce 3D maps and paths
- Construct, evaluate, and enhance SLAM backends employing G2O or GTSAM
- Generate and uphold code documentation, unit tests, and system test suites
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience, preferably in a robotics or autonomous systems domain
- Proficiency in C++, Python, ROS2, and/or other programming languages used in robotics
- Deep knowledge in SLAM, 3D reconstruction, Structure-from-Motion, Visual Inertial Odometry, and/or Bundle Adjustment
- Experience working with SLAM backends like G2O or GTSAM
- Solid grasp of multi-view geometry principles
- Effective problem-solving abilities in a dynamic setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in developing algorithms for agricultural applications
- Proficiency in operating agricultural machinery and farm equipment
- Expertise in Visual and camera-based SLAM Familiarity with LiDAR SLAM
- Experience working with RADAR, IMU, GPS, and other sensors
- Experience in sensor fusion techniques to improve positioning accuracy by integrating data from multiple sensors like IMUs, LiDAR, and cameras
