What You Will Be Doing
- Align product direction with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives for seamless product development.
- Serve as a bridge between stakeholders (e.g., solutions team) and development teams.
- Provide updates on progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Act as the Technical Product Manager for one or two teams, overseeing and prioritizing their backlogs.
- Decompose epics into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria and story points.
- Weigh business value, technical feasibility, and team capacity when setting priorities.
- Facilitate teamwork among designers, developers, and QA.
- Optimize Jira and Confluence workflows to boost developer productivity.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate timelines, resolve conflicts, and remove roadblocks.
- Champion Agile methodologies and foster a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Regularly reassess priorities to maximize feature value.
- Guide trade-off decisions between scope, deadlines, and technical limitations with business outcomes in mind.
- Balance long-term product vision with immediate delivery goals.
- Participate in retrospectives to identify and implement enhancements.
- Adapt processes, backlogs, and priorities based on insights and team dynamics.
What You Will Need
- Experience aligning product development with business goals and stakeholder needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage stakeholders and development teams.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize team backlogs, breaking down epics into clear user stories.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
- Skilled in leading Agile ceremonies and fostering cross-functional teamwork.
- Ability to assess priorities, make trade-offs, and balance short- and long-term objectives.
- Track record of driving continuous improvement through retrospectives and process refinements.
