Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and design end-to-end embedded software solutions for in-vehicle and in-flight entertainment systems.

Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to align software and hardware architectures.

Define architectural blueprints, system requirements, and integration strategies across embedded components and operating environments.

Develop solutions leveraging Linux, Android, QNX, and microcontroller-based RTOS environments.

Lead implementation of virtualization, storage management, and device-level integration using Qualcomm and Mediatek SoCs.

Introduce standard frameworks and patterns to improve scalability, quality, and time-to-market.

Create prototypes, proofs of concept, and demos for new technologies.

Evaluate and recommend emerging tools, chipsets, and technologies to align with the company’s product roadmap.

Drive collaboration across architecture, development, testing, and integration teams to ensure system performance and compliance.

Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and presentations to communicate vision and standards across teams.
Education & Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

10+ years of experience in embedded systems architecture, ideally within automotive, avionics, or similar safety-critical industries.

Expertise in Linux/Android architecture, kernel development, device drivers, and hardware abstraction.

Deep understanding of multicore SoC architecture, virtualization (LXC, Docker, QNX, Kubernetes), and real-time systems.

Strong background in networking, storage systems, and performance optimization.

Proficiency with hardware interfaces (PCIe, I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, USB, Ethernet, MIPI, HDMI, LVDS).

Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, GitLab, Jenkins, Confluence).

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Experience:

Experience working with Qualcomm or Mediatek chipsets and Android or Linux-based embedded platforms.

Background in automotive infotainment, ADAS, or connected mobility systems.

Familiarity with industrial-grade software compliance standards such as DO-178C, ISO 26262, or ASPICE.

Experience in secure system design, including encryption, authentication, and firmware security.

Proven ability to evaluate hardware schematics and influence design for software integration.
