Job Title: Vice President of Marketing
Role Overview:
This role sits within a venture-backed B2B SaaS company building products for highly technical teams, including DevOps, platform engineering, and cloud operations. The organization is focused on solving real infrastructure and operational challenges for modern engineering teams, with a strong emphasis on product truth, buyer respect, and measurable business impact.
The Vice President of Marketing will own the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution, with direct accountability for pipeline creation and revenue influence. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, partners deeply with Sales and Product, and brings rigor, clarity, and follow-through to everything they touch.
Key Responsibilities:

Own demand generation strategy and execution with a clear focus on qualified pipeline growth and revenue impact

Design and operate a repeatable system for lead capture, scoring, nurture, and conversion, with clearly defined SLAs aligned with Sales

Define, track, and report on marketing KPIs and performance dashboards for executive leadership

Partner closely with Sales on pipeline targets, go-to-market planning, and campaign prioritization

Collaborate with Product to strengthen messaging, positioning, and go-to-market launches

Oversee content strategy, product marketing inputs, lifecycle programs, events, paid channels, and partner marketing initiatives

Manage marketing budget and channel mix with disciplined ROI analysis and prioritization

Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team with clear ownership and accountability
Education & Qualifications:

8 to 15+ years of B2B marketing experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role

Demonstrated track record of driving measurable pipeline growth in B2B SaaS environments

Experience marketing to technical audiences such as engineering, DevOps, IT, security, data, or platform teams

Strong command of performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, funnel analytics, and attribution

Proven cross-functional leadership skills with a bias toward execution and delivery

Experience operating in startup environments, or clear readiness to work at startup pace and ambiguity
Preferred Experience:

Background in cloud infrastructure, developer tools, security, or adjacent technical categories

Experience with account-based marketing for enterprise pipeline creation

Partner marketing experience within large technology ecosystems

Experience scaling marketing through major growth milestones such as funding rounds, market expansion, or new segment launches
