Role Overview
A global technology consulting organization within the Microsoft ecosystem is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead revenue growth, market expansion, and partner-driven go-to-market strategy. This role sits on the executive leadership team and owns Sales, Business Development, and Marketing, working closely with Pre-Sales, Delivery, and affiliated portfolio companies to drive scalable, profitable growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a commercial executive who understands how to translate Microsoft-aligned services, partner programs, and delivery capabilities into predictable global revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute global revenue strategy aligned with company growth priorities

  • Build and manage annual and quarterly revenue plans, including regional targets

  • Establish and track KPIs across pipeline coverage, forecasting accuracy, revenue attainment, and margins

  • Lead and develop Sales and Business Development teams with clear performance standards and growth plans

  • Implement disciplined lead qualification frameworks focused on timing, feasibility, scope, and profitability

  • Ensure CRM rigor, data accuracy, and reliable forecasting across regions

  • Conduct win/loss analysis to improve positioning and conversion rates

  • Partner closely with Pre-Sales to align opportunity scoping, estimation, and delivery readiness

  • Balance pipeline growth with delivery capacity and margin targets

  • Oversee marketing strategy, demand generation, and brand positioning tied to revenue outcomes

  • Lead conference and event strategy to support visibility, pipeline creation, and partner co-sell motions

  • Measure ROI across marketing campaigns, events, and spend

  • Strengthen strategic partnerships, with a focus on Microsoft-aligned programs and co-sell initiatives

  • Collaborate with affiliated portfolio companies on cross-sell opportunities and shared go-to-market efforts

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across all commercial functions

  • Drive operational rigor through scalable processes, playbooks, and tooling

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • MBA preferred

  • 8+ years of experience selling services or solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem

  • Prior VP or senior leadership experience within IT consulting or technology services

  • Proven track record of driving global or multi-region revenue growth

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions and partner programs

  • Experience leading Sales and Business Development teams with clear KPIs and development plans

  • Advanced CRM experience (Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or similar)

  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience managing international accounts or global expansion strategies

  • Familiarity with Microsoft co-sell motions and incentive programs

  • Experience designing compensation plans and revenue models

  • Background scaling sales operations or leading commercial transformation

  • Visibility within Microsoft partner ecosystems through speaking, forums, or thought leadership
