Role Overview
A high-growth, venture-backed enterprise SaaS company in the cloud infrastructure and DevOps automation space is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead its U.S. enterprise revenue organization. The company’s platform enables large enterprises to manage, govern, and automate complex cloud environments through Infrastructure as Code and advanced automation capabilities.

This is a mission-critical executive hire at a pivotal stage of growth. As the organization expands enterprise adoption, the VP of Sales will shape revenue strategy, elevate execution rigor, and build a world-class enterprise sales engine. This role is ideal for a technically fluent, enterprise-focused sales leader who thrives in startup environments and is equally comfortable closing strategic deals and building scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the enterprise sales strategy to meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of SDRs, Account Executives, and Solution Engineers

  • Establish forecasting discipline, pipeline rigor, and structured deal inspection processes

  • Personally drive strategic enterprise deals and cultivate executive-level customer relationships

  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to strengthen go-to-market alignment

  • Build scalable systems, KPIs, and performance standards to enable predictable growth

  • Recruit, coach, and develop top-tier enterprise sales talent

Education & Qualifications:

  • Proven success selling enterprise SaaS solutions within DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or adjacent technical markets

  • Demonstrated track record of leading and scaling enterprise sales teams

  • Experience selling to technical buyers such as developers, platform engineers, and cloud teams

  • History of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with long buying cycles

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders

  • Startup mindset with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in cloud resilience, backup, disaster recovery, or adjacent infrastructure categories

  • Experience operating within high-growth startup or scale-up environments

  • Proven ability to build repeatable enterprise sales processes during early or mid-stage growth

  • Senior Director or Head of Sales ready to step into a first VP role, or an established VP seeking expanded scope toward CRO-level responsibility
